Switching your toothbrush to bamboo is a simple way to reduce your waste.
Bamboo can grow up to 1 metre a day and does not require watering, pesticides or insecticides. Making it an organic and super sustainable resource.
Disposal: Remove the bristles or snap off the head for waste. The handle can go in your compost, a friends compost, a community collective compost, a lawn, a potted plant.
Sending something that is compostable to landfill is not a great idea, essentially landfills are low/no oxygen situations so adding a bio item will actually produce methane as opposed to CO2 in a regular oxygented (via turning or worms) compost.
